Welcome to Terra Madre Nordic and Nordic Artisan Food Awards on September 1-3, Stora Skuggan, Stockholm
Terra Madre Nordic is hosted by Eldrimner and Slow Food in the Nordic Countries with the aim to create a Nordic meeting place for both producers and consumers with a common interest in sustainable food production and consumption as well as food culture.
Schedule for the days
Thursday 1 September
Talks and panels. Competition assessment for the Nordic Artisan Food Awards and the opening dinner at Stora Skuggans Värdshus Restaurant (only pre-booked seats).
Friday 2 September at 12-20
Open to the public – Nordic Artisan Food Market, Masterclasses, Taste Workshops, Sessions with talks and workshops. The award ceremony for the Nordic Artisan Food Awards.
Note: Stora Skuggans Värdshus Restaurant is open until 22.
Saturday 3 September at 10-16
Open to the public – Nordic Artisan Food Market, Masterclasses, Taste Workshops, Sessions with talks and workshops. General assembly for Slow Food in the Nordic Countries.

Food vendors on Terra Madre Nordic
Terra Madre Nordic visitors can buy food from different stalls and food trucks. Food and beverages can also be purchased in tasting size from the Nordic Artisan Food Market as well as from Stora Skuggans Värdshus Restaurant – here you will also find the Slow Drinks area.

The reknown and prizewinning baker from Stockholm, Sebastien Boudet, will make stuffed galettes on Nordic heritage grains and produce. Stuffings are made with produce from the Terra Madre Nordic artisan food market and other quality ingredients. Terra Madre Nordic visitors can buy Sebastién’s delicious galettes – good, clean and fair food!
- About Sebastién Boudet
- Sébastien Boudet is a pastry chef, chef and baker working with communicating his knowledge and vision about good food and bread through courses, workshops and talks around Sweden. Always focusing on organic production, sustainability, resilience, circular economy and gastronomy. He had the bakery and restaurant “Sebastien på Söder” which was closed October 2021 after three years of success. The focus of Sebastién is now on creating possibilities with solutions for all to change towards increased sustainability.

How to find your way to Stora Skuggan
Stora Skuggan is located on Norra Djurgården. It is close to the city centre, to Solna and to Lidingö.
How to get here:
Public transportation: Metro, red line, line 14 to Universitetet station.
Or buses 50, 540 to Universitetet norra. With the station entrance behind you, follow the left road where your nose points, through the University area, past the Arrhenius buildings onto a field with rugby goals. Continue along the gravel road straight ahead to a small roundabout with a bus stop. Follow the sign to the left. Here we are! The walk takes about 10 minutes. Bus number 50 also goes to Stora Lappkärrsberget and then about 10 minutes walk. See the trip planner on sl.se.
By car: – from the city
Drive to Roslagstull, and take Roslagsvägen (E18) north. Keep right onto the Frescatiavfarten at the National Museum of Natural History and turn right at the roundabout, first exit. Follow Bergiusvägen straight ahead and turn right when the road parts, onto Stora Skuggans väg. Continue straight ahead to the car park at a small roundabout. Here we are!
– from the north
Follow the E18 south towards Stockholm. Keep right onto Ekhagsavfarten. Turn left at the roundabout at Bergianska (at Roslagsbanans stn and Plantagen). You are now on Bergiusvägen. Follow Bergiusvägen straight ahead and turn right when the road parts, onto Stora Skuggans väg. Continue straight ahead to the parking lot at a small roundabout. Here we are!
