Thank you and see you for Terra Madre Nordic 2025 in Finland!
To all the thousands of visitors, to the food activists who filled Terra Madre Nordic with workshops, master classes and thought-provoking sessions on resilience and regenerative food systems, and to the around 45 food producers who treated us to good, clean and fair market representing all of the Nordic countries – we send a huge heartfelt thank you! We’re already looking ahead and looking forward to seeing you again in the autumn of 2025 when Terra Madre Nordic will take place in Västnyland, Finland!
Welcome to the Terra Madre Nordic and Nordic Artisan Food Awards 1-3 September, 2022 at Stora Skuggan, Stockholm
Flatbread. IPA. Pickled vegetables. Sausage. Artisanal food competition. Ice cream. Cottage cheese. And much, much more can be enjoyed at Terra Madre Nordic on Norra Djurgården for those with interest in artisanal food, on September 1–3. It will be tasty, thought-provoking and educational when Eldrimner and Slow Food in the Nordics have organized Terra Madre Nordic, at Stora Skuggan on Norra Djurgården in Stockholm, where there will be something for all tastes.
During the days, a Nordic artisanal food market will be held, masterclasses, tasting workshops as well as talks, seminars and debates. For the first time, Eldrimner is also organising a Nordic artisanal food championship, the Nordic Artisan Food Awards.
Most of Terra Madre Nordic is completely free to take part in, but for some selected parts you need to buy a ticket and reserve a seat. See the daily schedule, detailed program and more information about all activities.
The venue for the event is Stora skuggan at Norra Djurgården where a tent village is built for the market and activities. The hub for the event is Stora Skuggans Värdshus, Stora Skuggans väg 12A, Djurgården, Stockholm.
The Road to Terra Madre – what is it and how do we get there?
The Road to Terra Madre is a series of initiatives organised by the Slow Food Network around the world to pave the way for the largest gathering taking place 22-26 September in Turin, Italy.
The Road to Terra Madre are festivals of their own that showcase positive models for the transformation of our food systems in countries across the world and will be part of the official programme of Terra Madre. To take action and pave the road for regenerative food systems, we celebrate the Nordic and arctic regions food cultures by hosting Terra Madre Nordic in Stockholm on 1-3 of September.
Slow Food in the Nordic Countries believes that we can, and must, create a more sustainable food system in the Nordic region, based on craftsmanship and quality, integrating science and traditional knowledge.
Take part in Terra Madre Nordic, the gastronomic event of the year, highlighting small scale artisan food producers from the Nordics together with Eldrimner to pave the way for the road to Terra Madre 2022.
